Im considering this car but my german is a bit rusty.I tried calling them but they wouldnt speak in english . This sounds like an amazing deal...maybe too good to be true !! But im seriously thinking about going to Hannover to buy that car. Its gorgeous and its cheap ...and its not red so i could take it to my university... Do anybody here knows that dealer ? What could i ask about the car to know a bit more about the history ? Thanks in advance ! http://www.mobile.de/SIDTnppt.S4iQDU6tBWHgojCA-t-vaNexlCsAsK%F3P%F3R~BmSB10LsearchPublicJ1071930832A1LsearchPublicCCarY-t-vctpLtt~BmPA1B21B20B31s-t-vMkMoPRSm_X_xsO~BSRA6C900CGTVH70000000CGTVA2A0A0/cgi-bin/da.pl?bereich=pkw&id=11111111130539371&top=28&

Wolfgang, first thanks a lot ! thats very cool I would like that know the following things : -Is it a first hand car ? -Was it serviced only/mainly at Alfa dealer ? -Is it a 3.0 V6 24V ? ( i think there is a typo, the ad says 3.6 but there is no 3.6 Alfa ? ) -Did it crash ? Any accident ? -Which parts have been changed ? (Tyres , shock absorber , clutch , brakes , belts , joints ) . -If i should expect any work ? - Did it pass the TUV ? Viele Danke ! Andrew
Hello Andrew, I will call & ask the dealer all your questions reg. the Alfa on Monday morning. Hopefully the store is open in the Christmas week? Should I drop you a PM or would you like to get all the answers here on board? Stay in touch Wolfarossa FORZA FERRARI
Hey Wolfgang, Thanks again ! You can post the details here on the board. Grazie Mille ! Have a great Sunday. Best Andrew
Ton, You think the car is junk ? I checked on mobile.de and there are a lot of GTV's going that cheap. You are scaring me !
Andrew, I don't know that much about these cars. It sounds rather cheap to me, and if it is the same as with Ferrari then that means that a cheap buy is an expensive buy. But I really have no clue about Alfa's. I just love the way they look. I am very curious what news Wolfgang will bring. I keep my fingers crossed for you. Ton
Hi Andrew, I don't know what to think about this car. In Holland normally you pay AT LEAST 10K in euro and then you still have a bargain. Hope Wolfgang has good info for you tomorrowmorning. Ciao, Roel
Ton , I think its the same story as Ferraris as you said but i talked to a few people and apparently "common" italian cars devaluate rather quickly in germany. You can find Barchettas for as cheap as 4000 euros and in good condition.Plus i was also told that german usually take very good care of their cars and that the TUV is a difficult test to pass meaning that if this car has passed it it should be a safe buy ? I hope Wolfgang can confirm this tomorrow..as i really love this Alfa ! Roel , Its the same thing here in France, the same car will cost around 11 000 euros but thats due to the fact that they are rarer here than in Germany where people dont hesitate to buy sports/luxury cars. In France, its not well perceived when you drive in such cars...you shouldnt show that you are different or that you have money so those cars are very rare...i think less than 100 were sold annually... Cheers ! Andrew
Hello & good morning Andrew, I just spoke to the seller about the Alfa. A very friendly and informativ phone conversation. First of all the bad news;-( The car is ON HOLD till tomorrow afternoon. Somebody has called last week and would like to see, buy and pick up the car tomorrow. If he don`t buy the car for any reason (cash money or he doesn`t shows up) the car is on sale again and you are the next one ON HOLD. Here are the facts you have been asking for: - 2 owners - Service Map with all records by Alfa Romeo Dealer - 3.0 V6 engine..of course - accident FREE - nothing over painted - got a brand new biiig inspection 4 month ago with new tyres, timing belts...and all the things has been changed / done by Alfa. Of course with bill and papers for a total amount of uro: 2.300,- - the car is ready to drive - nothing must be fixed or done! - TÜV / AU till 06/2005 - Consigment sale NO taxe Andre, this sounds all pretty good to me; but I haven`t seen the car its just the comment from the dealer/seller over phone....don`t forget there are always a few banditos around - YOU have to proof it serious with your eyes. I will call him (the dealer) again tomorrow afternoon and will ask him if the car is sold or free for sale again. I keep my fingers crossed for you! Wolfarossa FORZA FERRARI
Andrew, -do you want me to call him again today? -have you read my post yesterday regarding the phone conversation? Please advice me what you want to do. Wolfarossa FORZA FERRARI
Wolfgang, sorry for the late reply , i couldnt access Fchat yesterday at night :0 Thanks a lot for the infos ! The car sounds like a good deal if its still available . What did he mean by NO Taxe ? Does it mean that the car is sild tax free ? and that once i enter it in france i will have to pay the VAT ? If you can call him to know wheter the car was sold or not that would be awesome ! Thanks again ! I appreciate it !
Andrew, no, that only means you have no 16% value added taxe listed. As usual on consigment used cars sale! No problem to bring it to France!! I will call him later around 15:00. Let you know & stay in touch Wolfarossa FORZA FERRARI
Sorry Andrew, just called the gent and he told me: SOLD ! Maybe we are next time a bit faster. Wolfarossa FORZA FERRARI
