    Its my wife 30th birthday on Oct. 24. I want to throw a surprise party for her that next weekend. I have been out of the clubing scene for a while and don't know what are the hottest places. I would like find something that is bar/restaurant. Any recommendations, I would appreciate the feedback.

    Calabasas Inn in Calabasas is a great location if you want to do a very private party. Great food and space.

    I know several Club promoters around Hollywood, Long Beach, and Orange County areas... Depends the type of music, crowd, and atmosphere you are looking for. If B-Day party occation, you might want to check out Burbank Bar and Grille, where everyone can sit down, eat, and enjoy mix crowd and music. Another is Highlands in Hollywood, get your dinner reservations up on the 5th Floor and head downstairs on the 4th floor with 2 huge dance floors, plenty of space to lounge around too...
