    This guy down the street from me has an 1988 328 GTS that he never drives, it just sits outside year round with no cover. Every time I pass it I think about how much of a waste it is. I was thinking about asking him if he'd sell it but wasn't sure if it would be wise to buy a car that's been sitting for that long even if I could get a good price. What does everyone think, and what should I look for being this would be my first Ferrari.

    A different 328 and /or a hammer to hit him over the head with and/or a good mechanic.

    How long's it been sitting?

    I can't ever remember that last time I saw him drive it. Sad to say I think it's been more than a half a year.

    my .02 ASK HIM.... what have you got to loose by trying???? 6 moths to a year is not bad.... maybe he has the service records????? maybe not. ya wont know if you dont try. please keep us posted.
