the jury's still out for me on the new turbo---something just isn't right. The 993tt was the best 911, period. IMO.

the styling is just not exciting anymore. certainly there are cues that you can spot that it's a TT, but it's the same looking car. just not exciting. and the fact that porsche copies its tuners for styling cues... that is just pitiful.

(but i guess the tuners are quite admirable.. look at the Sportec 800hp monster).

and notice how Porsche are feeding all the models into production so quickly? TT, GT3, TT Cab...

porsches excitement will come when you step on the gas...0-60 in 3.7 seconds..even the 993 turbo, which is my favorite styling wise, still is ferrari or lambo as far as visual excitement...and 997 chassis is the best 911 chassis ever by a mile and its a great plateform for sports cars and cabs....

I like the styling of the 997 Carrera over the 993, but for Turbo versions, 993 takes the cake hands down imo. I'm not a huge fans of Cabrios. I hope that they will make a Targa version of the 997TT, but I doubt that would happen.

I thought that was a beetle at first! hahaha

I love Porsche's, but not for their design. They are quite good at the engineering though!

Too strakey. Reminds me of that slantnose kit with the Testarossa-wannabe venting.

Looks good. Better than the 996TT powder puff. That car looked so soft I almost bought my wife one. Now the 993TT ahhhhh. It was the last masculine porsche 911.
