    Hi All,

I'm new to this group, but have enjoyed the comments and pics of great Ferraris. I've attached pics of the 1967 330GTC I bought on Dec 20th. The car is in Connecticut, but should be delivered by mid-Feb. I look forward to bringing it out for events and fun runs...

What did a Priest, a Rabbi and a Faith Healer say when they saw these pics?

    "*******, that's beautiful."

    Well, it could happen.

Thanks to all for the welcome and encouraging comments!

The car is real clean, and has about 41,000 original miles (67,800 km).

I had Francois Sicard, the very well-known Ferrari mechanic and restorer come to look at the car, and he pronounced it as a great one...

Welcome Chuck, to FerrariChat and especially to the So Cal section.

Your car is beautiful and I can't wait to see it.

In what part of the region do you live? (I hope it's the north so that we can get together often).

    Best regards,

    Ron Shirley

    Hi Ron,

I live in Westchester, sort of sandwiched in between Marina Del Rey and LAX. If you know where Loyola Marymount University is, I live up there on the bluff...

I bought the car from a private seller through Matt deGarmo Classic Motorcars in Norwalk, CT. After months of looking in Ferrari Market Letter and a bunch of other sources, and driving rather bad examples,
I found the car advertised in Hemmings in early December.

And, yes, that is Franscois under the hood doing a compression test... Here's a better picture...
