new ferrari dealership in New Jersey

    While attending the ferrari dinner party at the N.Y auto show last night i had the pleasure of meeting, Chris, the sales manager of the new ferrari dealership which is going to be open in New Jersey in June. It is apparently owned by roger penske and is an state of the art showroom and service facility.

    This should be great news for all N.J guys as he seems to be a standup guy and involved with FNA for many years. please pm me and i will give you his cellular number if anyone needs to get in touch with him. their phones should be up and running within the next few weeks.

    I wonder why Classic Coach did not get the dealership. Frank already ownes FoCF. He would appear to be the logical owner of a new NJ dealership.

    I'm thinking that Roger Penske just might have the edge on clout here. Just a thought.

    Yep, I believe this will make 5 dealerships for Penske - two in Europe, Scottsdale and Las Vegas

    Could have something to do with the fact that Frank just started Lamborghini of Bergen County. Not sure whether there's any legitimate rivalry considering the number of dealers who sell both brands, but it's a thought...

    I wonder whether the opening of a new dealership signals that Ferrari will increase production. I hope not.

    The Lambo dealership is due to open in the next few weeks....the building is kinda small but I guess they really don't need that big a facility to sell and support this car. SD

    The news about the nj dealership was announced here last year, though we had heard in the morristown/mendem area

    i honestly don't know the location but will find out. He told me that the reason they opened up a new dealership in New Jersey was more for Maserati and not so much Ferrari. They are trying to push out the maserati's and need more service locations.

    Lambo dealership is on the street off of Rte 17 that goes past Hackensack hospital (Passaic, Essex?? ). The new Ferrari dealership is in Edison....a partnership of Frank Trasari of Classic Coach and Penske. I think both dealerships are opening soon. SD

    Is the Vegas Ferrari dealership open yet? If not, any idea when? Also, where is it gonna be? A while back I heard it is gonna be in Steve Wynn's new casino, but don't know if that's true or not.

    Went to the NY Auto Show today and a rep from Ferrari confirmed that the location of the new Ferrari/Maserati dealership would be on RT 1. North in Edision, NJ. They actually had a phone number posted at the show. Expected to open Spring/Summer of 2004. If I was gonna guess, it may be in the area where Catena has all his dealerships. Nice competition!!

    It will be nice to finally have Ferrari open in NJ. I forsee some informal lunch meetings on the horizon for all the local F-chatters!!! Maybe on opening day!!
