That's it's second trip Jim. They've already done one trip to Mareeba and back. They're good people and split the drive at Croydon to make it a two dayer. I have a much newer $30k one with all the bloody electrics,DPF B/S,frigging computers trying to manage everything and I can't trust it to go out of a 300klm radius of Atherton. That '04 has got 800K klms FFS!
That’s good man. These newer cars with DPFs are ****. We also have DPFs in our new equipment underground and it’s nothing but trouble. Every shift there is always a DPF fault on a few different machines and we don’t have enough Auto Electricians to cover it all, so it’s one job at a time. 800,000km is a good run out of that little truck. Sell the newer model and go and buy 10 of those older models lol
I'm onto it already, just talkin' to wife of Vic's son, they have a diesel Subaru that's going through the same b/s,just hopeless. I have the engine light on permanently now due to a valve that as some operation of the DPF,we know what to replace but as the thing is in the 'open' setting the bloody truck has been operating properly for about 3 months....automatic cleansing of the system.......we gunna leave it like that!
I really don’t know what the issue was as no one in UPS knew either. Basically I bought a set of mufflers, sent via UPS express from Italy. Package arrived here in about a week, via the US. Waited around for the delivery, nothing. Next thing I know it’s on the way back to the US, recalled by US customs. FFS it was only in transit there. They couldn’t tell me why, guys here in the Botany office completely useless. Anyway, landed back in Botany today. NFI if I’ll actually receive it next week
Still no ****ing ETA, no one at UPS knows what’s going on. So frustrating This is what I’m waiting for Image Unavailable, Please Login
China!! Trust them to make sexy shiny exhaust systems at a very competitive rates that probably sound very nice
