To All, I was introduced to FChat last month by another Ferrari owner/friend. What a great site, and what a great group of people! The model I own is a 1981 308GTSi, which I purchased new. I know all the horror stories about the injected 2V cars, but have to say that I must have lucked out with mine. After 23 years and 30K miles, it runs and looks as good as the day when it was delivered! I have done the majority of the service work myself, but have had some exceptional teachers along the way. I look forward to being an active participant and contributer.

Welcome. I also have a 2 Valve (Mondial), and I say don't worry about what anyone else thinks. I have found that the people on this board are almost all great people and welcome everyone. There are occasional comments that make you realize no matter WHAT you drive there is something wrong with it, and something better. Keep enjoying that great car!
To All, I want to thank everyone for the warm welcome. As soon as I can get some decent pictures together I will post them. I ordered my 308 with a special Ferrari Russo Barchetta (origional red used by Enzo) paint job. It cost an arm and leg at the time, but the paint job and color are spectacular! I have yet to see another like it, and cannot wait to show it off. Again, thanks to all.
Welcome aboard flashman....great to hear of someone that has kept the original they bought new. Pretty wild having it for 23 plus yrs and not being tempted,great story, if only we could hang on to our wives that long !! LOL.
