I purchased new wheel caps for my F355 but I am not sure if I need to remove my wheels to install them? Does anyone know how to remove them without removing the wheels?

    Thanks,
    Tom

Maybe try and pick them out with a tiny flat blade screw driver. You may or may not damage the wheel using the screw driver and maybe you will damage or break the old cap. If you dont care about the old caps, just smash a screw driver through the old ones and rip em out. LOL. Or just take the wheels off to avoid damaging them! :)

I just put some on my 328 yesterday. I used a small slot screwdriver to pry around the edge.

Put a small shim between the wheel and the screwdriver and this should minimize any damage. I used a thin guitar pick and it worked very well.

Getting the new caps on was a bear, though! I had to lubricate the plastic rim and slightly file the edges to get it to pop in.

You can take a small flat head screw driver and put it in the fingers of a leather glove. Works like a champ. Good luck!

these f-car hub caps come off very ez without removing the wheels....just do what I did (not intentionally, mind you.....just park your car on the street in new york... the sidewalk side pair will be "removed" without you doing anything.... they will just be gone when you come back... in fact all the "horsey" and "script" badges will be removed off the car after a few nighttime parking hours without much effort from you... but the nose badge does leave some paint damage when it is removed without opening the hood!
