    Hey Martin,

I wish all of these Nigerians would give these offers to
    members of Congress.
We could get the Iraqi war bills taken care of this way.

At least they are entertaining. It's a new story every time and the $$amount keeps going up...800 BILLION? Wow.

Another one to watch out for is someone offering to pay you MORE than your asking price for a car, asking that you simply deposit a check and send them the difference. Needless to say the check is bad and your money is gone. And it's usually an amount smaller than the police wants to deal with, so getting it back is nearly impossible. They don't really even want the car, just your money.

Nibblesworth, don't feel left out, they're just downright annoying! Although, if you'd like, I can forward them on to you...I'm sure they wouldn't mind.

I have also started to see variations too. One claiming to be from a Chinese emperors descendants or something like that.

Just got it too - I replied: (NOT a 'pc' reply but.....)

    Mrs. Abacha:

Thanks you for your interest in my Ferrari!

I do have one question though: How does one collect US $800 billion in a country like Nigeria? You have but 2 natural resources:

    1. Oil, which your country cannot seem to be able to actually produce in profitable sums, and

    2. importation of second resource banned in 1865

    Thanks, mark
