I did a search but no hits.

a GL5 is specified for the transaxle and diff.

I guess this means no yellow metals are used? anyone know for a fact?

that strange..isn't it common knowledge that the pressure additives attack the brass? am I missing something? surely ferrari would not spec a gl5 in this case......i will call redline see if they anything to share.

redline stated that their EPS (sulphur compound pressure additive) is used but in a small quantity. they stated it would be ok for long term use in the transaxle. they recommend 75w90NS.

amsoil made a 75w140 gl5 non corrosive which i had used in past to quell a manual tranny rattle . it's not made anymore it seems...it may have perfect.

and to continue the running monologue.....(what's the saying? ok to talk to yourself but get worried when you start to answer back!)

called amsoil....the product i used was series 2000 75w140 that was specd gl2-5. not made anymore.

info relayed to me- any gl5 that has passed 205E and MT1 will be ok for long term use with yellow metal.
