I've test driven them and was very impressed. They are said to be heavy. Pretty much everything is heavy these days and it felt no different from the competitors IMO. Still kicking myself for not grabbing a fully loaded black new 17 for $135K back in the day. Full carbon plus ceramics. Passing on it allowed me to afford other stuff though. Cant win.
Insane is what folks pay for 70s Mopar. Japanese reliability matters. Ny 6+ year old Gen 2 NSX is so easy to live with, just put some gas in it and go for a drive. Look at how Ferrari does stuff, I call it over optimized, today's example the AWD system in the FF, GTC Lusso and as I understand it, the Purosangue. The thing is prone to failure (besides not being the best AWD system to start with).
If you've never driven the NA1/2 NSX, the new NC1 NSX will be quite the enjoyable ride. But if you've experienced the original NSX, the new one will be a major let down.
You are so correct! As a NA1 NSX owner, I tried the NC1 NSX repeatedly and never could warm up to it. It seems the original really spoils you and each time you drive the NC1 it is just "meh". It never felt special enough to warrant the cost. Based on the sales numbers and its uneventful end, it seems many others felt the same.

Your sunshine is off. In real life the color of that wonderful paint job is more like a metallic garnet.
