This might be the wrong forum for this question, but I received this picture from a friend who had seen it somewhere online. I don't know much about new Ferraris, but it appears to me to be one of the Monza SP1 or SP2s; I know some have been done up in period liveries, but didn't know if one had been done in the 1955 Venezuela GP livery that our old car wore, or is this is just a photoshop. Has anyone seen this?

    Bryan,
I don't have any info, but I wonder if perhaps this belongs to the new owner of 0556(0446)MD ?

My father is in regular contact w/ the new owner (almost 5 years ago now); he sends us "baby pictures" and I think he would have told us if he had ordered a Monza SP w/ the livery, but we will ask.

Thanks for the photo! I will go into that thread and ask some questions.

    Agreed !
I’ve never understood the point of any modern “tribute” cars, even if made by the original manufacturer, let alone why anyone would drive/own one, as they strike me as “fakey-doo’s”, but …

Yes, it is a Tailor Made Monza SP2 Tribute to 500 Mondial Series 2 0446MD (originally 0556 MD). Ferrari here again just using the renumbered number 0446 MD.

Colours stated to be Azzurro La Plata with Bianco Avus pinstripe and roundels.

    See link here.

Well, Targa Florio edition with shields, personalized(?) tailor made carbon fiber ornamentation and matching outfits with contrast stitching, will probably sell like hot cakes.
Perhaps another, dedicated Canossa event and/or a “special class” at Cavallino in the horizon ?
