Excuse me Jacques.... that is MY photo, which I took of my work in progress (many years ago). Photo credit??????

Photo is specifically of a 1:12 scale scratch built SWB that I was commissioned to build by/for the owner of 1905GT an early car, which is on the left. Later series SWB on the right.

I'm sorry. I have no clue where I found this image which illustrate perfectly the difference between the two series. I had no intention to steal anything, I just wanted to show the shape of the front grilles.

By the way, I would love to see your scale models because there is nothing really good on the market for the SWB.

Let me know in PM if I can do something to be forgiven for borrowing your picture.

    OK, understood.

Many of my models, scratch built, custom built, and limited editions are shown on my website www.cmamodels.com . My company produced ltd. editions of 250 SWB road & race models in 1:24 scale about 30 years ago, sold out within a short time. ALL CMA Models are made in the USA. We also made a very short exclusive run for the FCA of a 250 SWB comp car driven by Ken Miles. My larger 1:12 scratch built was a one-of-a-kind model. Sorry, but I have no intention of making any more 250 SWB models in any scale.

    Congratulation for your work. Outstanding.
But I'm disappointed for the SWB...

Great thread of the Ferrari 250 SWB.

I am looking for pictures of the interior (dashboard, seats, panels, parcel shelf) of the Ferrari 250 SWB, chassis 2001GT, car #16 Le Mans 1960.
If there are pictures of it. Or else what could the interior color scheme possibly be?

Also the question what the name of the color is?

    I hope anyone can help.

Checking the ID of first serie of SWB (1960) on barchetta.cc and Jess Pourret's book, I noticed that 1933 GT and 2339 GT are missing on the website and 2365 GT, 2347 GT and 2269 GT are not mentioned in the book. Has somebody informations and pics about these cars ? I thought Jess Pourret's book was the master reference about 250 SWB and I am a little bit surprised about the missing cars.

1933 GT was a 250 GT PF Coupé originally which sadly was abused as donor car for a FAKE, a 250 SWB REPLICA.
2339 GT was born as a 250 GTE 2+2 Coupé Pininfarina and as of 2 years ago still was a GTE.

Neither the book nor the website you mentioned are accurate.
The Pourret book also doesn't list chassis number 3895 GT which was a genuine 250 GT SWB Berlinetta Scaglietti (with engine internal number 708/62, gearbox number 90/61 and rear axle number 464 F), completed by the factory 18 December 1962 and delivered new on the 4th January 1963 to Automobile Monteverdi AG in Binningen near Basel, Switzerland. It was Grigio Argento 16003 with Nero VM 8500 interior.

2269 GT and 2347 GT ARE listed in the Pourret book (you may want to buy the latest edition........). Here are photos of the chassis number stampings.

The site barchetta.cc and Jess Pourret's book said the only passo corto in light metallic blue is 2009 GT. Some body has the exact code for this color ?

    Celeste Gainsborough.
2009 GT has been repainted numerous times, especially after the extensive left rear damage 1986.

Thank you very much Mister Massini. But is it the original hue ? The one she had when she left the factory in 1960 ?

I am sorry «Cher compatriote», I'm slow because I'm Swiss ! You should be used to with people from Bern… Originally from Tramelan (BE).
    But thank you again.
To be forgiven I will send some pics from Auto Moto d'Epoca in Padova. No replicas (finger crossed…)
