Thanks Joe. I'm from that generation and my 'car-guy' friends with means still seem to be more into the modern machinery than the nostalgic car poster material. I was curious if our generation is the driving force in that market of just a smaller piece of it. I appreciate your insight.

Hi all, thread hasn't been bumped in a couple months, thought someone would have posted this but I don't see it -
Lamborghini Countach 5000 QV | eBay

Any thoughts, seems to be priced well under others for sale.

its been relisted a few times too.

i think the biggest issue is those wheels make it look terrible.

What's wrong with the wheels? Anyway, that's the easiest fix you can do to a car.

Same car. I would change the intake hoses, paint the brake calipers (provided they are the stock setup or the stock rims would fit), and the wheels. Easy stuff. No affiliation.

Marino Performance Motors is thrilled to announce the arrival of this 1987 Lamborghini Countach 5000 QV finished in Black and wrapped in Black leather with only 29,160 pampered miles (46,930 KM) and this example has just undergone a recent $35K documented major mechanical overhaul!

    They are aftermarket units.

OEM wheels for a Countach are very expensive & rare, so sourcing them is a major concern for a Countach.

I believe this is the same car that was sold at an asset auction several months back. It had several add on components such as neon skirt lights, aftermarket wheels, some owner personal touches in the interior and still in the engine compartment. It had been sitting for some time from what I recall. I don't know what work has been done on the car since, though that listing says a comprehensive service totalling $35k. I don't recall the final auction price but it wasn't too far off from the ask.

Good info, thank you. I'm one of these sad sacks who has wanted a Countach since the bedroom poster days, and now that I'm able to consider one they triple in price overnight.

This one is a glimmer of hope that one may still be gettable.

By the way those wheels actually look pretty damn good!

Was trying to make a joke. Sure it needs a set of proper Ozetta alloys.

Well not overnight, more like a 4 year progression.....looks like one can be had for a price starting with a 2 (I never thought that would be the case again).

Probably a good time to go after one.....

Described as "100% original, including paint!", but note that the front & rear ends have been converted from USA spec to Eu spec involving bodywork & paint.

Hey, can you guys help me with 1978 and 1979 Countach sale numbers?
A friend asked for help on the values. How many sold in the last, let's say, 3yrs or so? Which ones? And for how much?
I know of the 79 Copper car that was in the high 900 with fees.
Do we know what that 78 barn find sold for? Was it Geno that got that car?
I'm at a lose for others. Was there a blue one that sold a auction?
If you can list, it would be helpful.

And, anyone know anything about this 79 on ebay? Specifically why it has not sold since it's been on there a long time.

    Lamborghini Countach LP 400 S | eBay

I'm not asking because someone wants to buy it. A friend asked for help on the values.

The Rame Colorado "Copper car" 1121098 was sold for 1,012,000 with fees back in August 2014 . Not running, super low miles . A series one(second from last) ...yet it didn't wear Bravo wheels.
