Might this shop owner fellow be Phil Dermer? No longer with us due to his habit. He ripped me off big time with a BMW CS, around 1977. Regards, Alberto
No that’s not the guy. I believe his last name was Valerie. I also ended up with a 212 Cabriolet that shop had many missing parts.

Absolutely. To my knowledge, still with P.P....O. He lives a few kilometers from the museum where the car is currently located.
This museum is just over one hour east of me....and I had never ever heard of it: are they trying to stay secret? They are located in the middle of nowhere.
Thank you. Rarely, if ever, does the factory make a bad choice from the start. This Lusso will be gorgeous (again). Well done by the current owner.
No, not Berlinetta Boxer! You must be very young and not in St. Trop at the time. Besides, who wants to se a naked Berlinetta Boxer?
That pic was taken 21 years ago, prior to the sensational restoration. Here's one from 2023, same car, freshly restored to a very high level. With the correct exhaust. I had the great pleasure to carefully inspect 5695 GT in May 2023 and must say it was the nicest 250 GT Lusso I ever saw. It subsequently achieved a world record price for a Lusso at auction (US$ 2'810'000 all in). Very well deserved. Grigio Fumo with Bleu Nuvola, the one and only 250 GT Lusso built in this configuration. All the other 16 Lussi born in Grigio Fumo had either a beige, red or black interior. Thank you, Marcel. Your research and contributions should not be underestimated when it comes to establishing pedigree for these old cars. Thank you for being a big help. john
Looking at this makes me think of how Enzo thought highly of the styling of the E-Type. I wonder if he told Pininfarina that he wanted something that would make the E-Type look shabby? They pulled it off! I would guess Enzo was pretty happy when he saw the model.
