Impressed that even the tyres look right.
Did anyone see the guy at the Historics in the Paddock with the under construction P4? Pretty much a body, chassis, and wheels. His first name is Adrian and he's from Oregon. I told him about Fchat and all the good connections he could make to help finish his car. He had never heard of it. Hope he is computer literate. Hey Adrian, did you ever make it here?
So the F1 car was patched up and sent out with instructions "Try not to hit anything?" This part of the story boggles the mind........
can anyone CONFIRM that it was Kroymans that stacked a GTO? Got a car number? Picture? what day it happened?
Yep, that's his. I see Mr. Tamboer (who is a friend) and his son in law, Chris,(who is also a friend) in the picture.
Oh No! Mr. Kroyman's didn't have a fun weekend at ALL... Some one mentioned he was ...heavier...than an F1 driver.... At least his wallet's a lot lighter now.......
No it was LuLu Wang who damaged her silver GTO on Friday during practice. Kroymans spun his red GTO filling it with gravel and later writing off his 99 F1 Ferrari.
These photo's were taken around Laguna Seca and of the group photo's of all GTO's at the track. Here's a sampling of the photos I took on our trip to Monterey. First few photos are of the trip down from Seattle, then Concorso Italiano, Historics, and Finally Pebble Beach. What a week of automotive overload.
Eric, Those are quite remarkable photographs/images. Thanks for them. Seeing the Meister Brauser photo made me smile.
HOLY SPLOOGE COVERED KEYBOARD BATMAN! Thank you all for these wonderfull pics. I thought Ferraris in San Fransico were a no no b/c doesnt the body scrape on the bottom on some hills
Stuart Singers Dino was one of the nicer Dino's there. His paint job, done at his shop, was about the best paint finish I have ever seen in person. Really quite spectacular... when I go to paint my 246GT, I am seriously considering transporting it from San Jose to Dallas for him to work on. It was that good.
