Apparently MB in all their wisdow used inferior wiring harnesses on the engine and chassy of my 94 600sl. I bought the car new and it has 25k on the clock. Well the insulation just comes off the wires ans then you don't go. The ASR light comes on and you run of 6 cylinders. The car is basicially in the go to dealer mode. That is what I did. In 94 and a few other years they had the bright idea to use this degradable wiring. My car is as new in every way and this cost me 20k. The wiring shorted out a computer and the throttle bodies. The throttle bodies are like 3700 and 3200 each plus a computer that fried. MB was written a letter and they said jamb it. The car is old. What do you say? Are they still responsible for **** wiring even after 11 years. I am the original owner. The car was 125k new.
