Well, I will be the first one to give my face…

I don’t have any final renderings to show, unfortunately!

The last few weeks were very busy, and still are, so I was unable to work on this project!
I hope you understand that in the next weeks I will not be able to post any designs… Sorry!

Possibly this is true for everyone that has posted ideas on this thread. Suggestion, we should wait until January to see the final submissions, and then vote before February.

Hello everyone, I have been looking at the various designs and tried to critique on a aero sense ernestos because it seems to be the "winning model" First and foremost earnesto please do not take this as a insult, its just me looking at this in a aero sense. The main concern is lack of cooling and heat extraction. While some can be hidden in the "underbody" some must be shown, heat rises so it must escape somehow. Especially in the front the twin radiator (assuming its following the 360 in basic engine layout) must have some extractor of some sort, may it be in the fender walls or out right before the windshield. also, the front spoiler the way the middle is arched, that will cause aerodynamic instability. Side works generally, just watch out to the angle in which the fenders flair out, direction of airflow is key. As for the back, the exhaust placement in the middle surrounded by the diffusers, where the exhaust exits there is a substancial lack of downforce, and since heat rises the middle of the car will rise, while i see you tried to correct that with the twin diffusers, i beleave a twin exhaust system coming out of each side would work better, due to the downforce then being centered over the center point of the rearend. Besides that, just be careful of the way the cab is made, the very bubbly look creates the aero properties of a wing (the shape of a car already is a airfoil) cut it down, increase the angle of the A piller to offset the airfoil effect. not saying its the winner, im saying it has gotten the most commotion in the positive sense, im just going one design at a time, if you would like me to review your design on a aero stand point i will gladly :-D

 

I had my new final design ready to show, but after reading your post, I came to the conclusion that you're right.....

We do have a winner, so will end my participation now....

Im sorry for that misunderstanding. We do not have a winner, infact many people still want to submit designes myself included. we are going to submit them sometimes in January

 

In my mind the winner is definately found in the beautiful sketch done by Ernesto! No doubt at all!!!
You could make a poll to find out what others think!!!

 

Regardless if it is thought to be most popular, i think we should see everyones, because tidbits here and there from other peoples designs can influence it and also improve it

 

mine is aimed twords progression with some cues to the dino but also the modern ferrari such as the enzo and 612

agreed, anything from a air intake to a small chrome piece is going to be designed by all of us. Your artistic talent has not been ignored, Actually my design (which will be posted tonight or tomorrow) took some cues from your design (ie overall shape) So please stay on the team, the more minds the better. And yes we do have cheerleaders but they are cheering EVERYONE on to creativly think not just Ernesto, or Michiel or myself. I came in late LATE in the game. Dont be discouraged due to someone saying they like the design or dont like yours. Continue to worko on the dino project with us so that it can TRULY give tribute to the Dino.

 

Jeez! What's up with all this kindergarden-*****ing?! Just because someone like Ernestos designs (I do, but definitely not all of them) doesn't mean that nobody likes yours Fuori!
I think some of the ideas in your very big pile of designs are very good, and as others point out, very welcome additions to the final car.

Ernestos designs are great, but still not finished (obviously, since they're just sketches), and the same applies to all the sketches seen so far. The design is nowhere near done, we haven't even decided on the basis yet!

Don't wimp out yet, the more proposals we have in the end, the better the overall design will be...

Sorry for being a bit aggressive, I just got surprised at how Fuoriserie was giving up.

Forget it, just keep the good designs coming!
