For the record I have no involvement with this.

Is the press right in that you're planing to mount this body on a Lotus Elise chassis?

It seems that it would fit.

I like the rear. The reference to the P4/5 is nicely executed. As for now, I am not to sure about the rest of the car, but untill this day it has never happened that I like a Ferrari at first sight and I usually end up loving it, so...

It is interesting as Ferrari's stated new direction is green through small and light. Remember, they displayed a mock-up 'mini-Enzo' just recently (which looked contrived to me).

Ernesto's genius in concepts, design and execution are the model for the future with $5.00/gallon gas and environmental concerns. Ferrari would be wise not to disregard it.

To carry it futher, Porsche would do well to re-introduce a modern '356' - simple, light and fun - more basic than the Boxster/Cayman.

Just found this thread again! I remember back when it was first started and now there's a 1:1 model of it, incredible what can be accomplished on this site!

How long did the process of making the foam body take? Was it milled by axis machine or was it all hand sculpted?

Can't wait to hear more details on your project...you must be very excited!

    Congrats:)

And another website that get's it wrong!
    http://jalopnik.com/cars/dutch-treat/ferrari-group-hug-a-non+dino-dino-takes-shape-278286.php

"Dutch designer Michiel van den Brink, artiste behind the Spyker D12, is on a mission to create the a new Dino a reality, with or without Ferrari's help. His year-long project culminated recently in a model for an updated, mid-engine coupe, whose creation has been the subject of a thread on Ferrarichat since 2006."

I'm new, so don't bother (though I've read the entire article) and ehm... I don't bet (in Dutch: http://www.djivy.be/2007/07/13/harry-metcalfe/#comments).

It's an outstanding development by Ernesto F., absolutely marvelous: one astonishing car: with it, or should I say 'she', Ernesto has taken the 'oldskool' to a new level (or is it blasphemic).
Still, needless to say, I have some minor remarks, which 'snj5' has taken the courage to point out to the public. I only disagree when it comes to the point of the 'dark thing that sticks out under the nose': personally I think it's fine. The main issue, as far as I'm concerened, is the 'P4/5 rear-end', it lackes a certain detail and possibly it's needs some 'resizing'.

I appologize for my somewhat inadequat English, but 'eh' we understand eachother, right?

I am ashtonished that this topic has sparkled some interesting developments and that some were even recognized for there capabilities (duely noted: I'm just recovering from a birthday :p).

I also find the second picture from 'Porarri' to be very nice (it has a certain power (and simplicity) to it), but it isn't a Dino... to me.
