Hi, Just wondering if anyone has experience of the below issue and if there are alternatives as some of the costs seem high. O/S/F wheel bearing - Should I buy from main dealers or is there a tried and tested alternative? O/S window switch broken - Some companies are still listing this part and have confirmed it’s available….but my specialist isn’t sure. Supply & fit new front brake caliper pistons & seals - how much should I be looking to pay for the caliper rebuild and do Ferrari do an official caliper repair lit? Leaking A/C Compressor - is there anyone out there that can rebuilt the unit as buying new.
I can answer a couple questions. You can get the wheel bearings from a third party. I just had mine replaced. I'll ask the shop where they purchased them. The price was $1974 for both fronts. This post will show you how to fix the broken window switch, I know it works because I did it. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/heres-a-pic-of-me-pulling-the-engine-out-of-my-612-yesterday.453306/page-8 My AC compressor leaks and has to be recharged every two to three years. It's cheaper than repair or replace.
It looks like you are in the UK… I would stick to OEM (#197232)on the wheel bearings. It has an integrated speed sensor that it critical for the ABS to function properly. Eurospares sells them for 420 pounds ex vat. Hill Engineering sells the pistons and seals for front and rear caliper rebuilds. Your cost will be roughly the parts plus 3 hours of labor per caliper. AC compressor - I recently changed mine under the power15 warranty so I can’t offer any rebuild advice. I drive my 612 on average 20,000 miles per year (Currently at 105,000 miles). They are very reliable once sorted. Bill
