I presume you mean the PF rather than the Lusso. I once saw a PF in Bleu Chiaro and it really didn't work.

Paul, it's the Lusso. I am getting closer to having to make a decision on color-- that is, what shade of blue.

This is the only period picture I have been able to find of my car in the last 12 years of search (in this actual size and photographic quality). It is circa mid-1960's, Brussells, Belgium-- Would you say this is Azzurro?

I think it probably is Azzuro and its the 1960's Kodak or whatever film that makes it look darker.....The only other colour I can think it MIGHT be is Blue Tourbillion but my guess is Azzuro. Are you trying to paint it to the original colour and if so cannot Marcel M supply you with the original paint code etc.......I'm sure you sent me a picture of the car some 10 years ago and it was painted Azzuro ??? It was a common colour on Lussos and looks great in my opinion.

It can certainly appear very different in photos under various light conditions.....light blue in full sun but much deeper in evening and later lighting...I agree it's a great color.

Love the Lusso in Celeste. Happy with my selection. Also, very happy to go back to original. Thanks for the pics

    Hi Marcel,

The original paint for my 365GT was Mahmoud Grigio 2.443.931. However the previous owner got it sprayed in Le mans blue mettalizato. I wonder if you have ever encountered this blu colour and if it is period correct?

    Thanks

    Alessandro

You mean Grigio Mahmoud, not Mahmoud Grigio.

Blu Le Mans is a MODERN color, not from the 1960s or the 1970s. Not period correct.
