    I'm replacing a missing rubber "bumper" piece, located directly below the "Unleaded Fuel Only" decal on the driver's side, rear quarter window on an '87 328GTS. I believe it's there so the base of the hinged grille has something to rest against.

    I have the part, just need to know which way it faces. If someone could take quick photo of theirs it would help me.

    There are two rubber pieces in this area - I'm interested in the forward one, not the rearmost rubber piece near the metal lock tab.

    Check the thread in the Classic section - the Euro piece looks flat, the U.S. version is almost hook-shaped.
