If it is not too time intensive, could somebody indulge my fantasy with a bit of photoshop....? On a white Testarossa, the side horizontal strakes are white and held in place with a black vertical support at the door jambs. How would it look with those colors reversed? i.e.) horizontal matt black strakes and the vertical support done in white to match and blend into the body color? Thoughts? Cheers and TIA, Vincenzo
The vertical support serves a function but if a car stylist had their way it would be removed. The only thing its lines relate to are the door cuts. No need to put focus on that part.
Agreed - if the vertical support was painted white to match the body color, it would not stand out as much and would visually disappear. If the horizontal slates were painted black, against the white background, they would stand out boldly and enhance the low, long look of the side profile. At least I ‘think’ that would be true (?)
What if the area behind the strakes (on the door etc) were black and the strakes themselves were white?
