NO former german football star guenter netzer. he also owned once a 365 GT 4 BB, if also a daytona I not know the sign in his hand says: I´m for free driving, fair driving. free driving in germany means no speedlimit on the autobahn
Günther Netzer is a well known German soccer star of Mönchengladbach, born 14 September 1944, who owned way more than 15 Ferraris over the years. Lives in Zurich, Switzerland, since decades. I see him occasionally in the city, he drives an 812 Superfast, matte black, bought from official dealer Gohm. Since the late 1960s Netzer owned several Dino 246s, two Daytonas, a 365 GTC/4, a 365 GT4 BB, several 512 BBs, F40, 550 Maranello, 599 GTB and F12s. Netzer has been a life-long Ferrarista. You and I have the same dream car. I was 18, I saw the 365BB and the Countch for the first time in an article. It was love at first sight. An 18 year old picking the BB over the Countch probably suggests some sort of juvenile head trauma, but there you have it. I still go nuts over the early BB......... Maybe some day... john
Yellow GTO? Never seen one in yellow...Which one is that? Would love to see more photos of it, thanks in advance to anyone who has any.
are there some color pictures about this car when yellow or just the two black and white who can be found on this forum/internet ?just saw a 1/43 scale model of it who was pale yellow .
only black and white pictures but the one Ed Niles posted must shows the car like she was during racing at the Nurburgring .The car was repainted from red to yellow at least somewhere during december 64 and january 65 ,was raced in hillclimb ,the Marathon de la Route and I'm almost positive was the car racing with number 37 at the 12h of Reims 1965 and not 4153GT but the only two pics I know(from internet)are sadly not good and close enough to be 100% positive even with originals (copyright Eric della Faille )so if somebody has at least one good picture of the car at Reims please feel free to post public or by PM .
Works for me in UK. This picture is on pages 266-267 of Keith Bluemel's 4153 GT 250 GTO Autobiography.
I haven't seen pictures of it from then. I believe @krasnavian/Stephen Mitchell (RIP) made mention of it- perhaps in his narration of one of his youtube videos of driving on Mulholland back then. Perhaps Cliff Reuter (Fchatter @etceterini.com), son of Jack Reuter- owner after Mario Tosi- would know of some pictures of 3765LM in yellow.
I asked @Boudewijn if he had any pictures of 4757 GT in yellow from 1965. He showed me some black and white pictures which confirm it.
