It seems that there is a lead there. Is it sufficient just to remove the lead to disconnect the airbag (say if I have a kid in the passenger seat)? Can I just reach the lead from one of the air vents?

How hard is this to do?

Thanks for sharing this. Great pics. Can I ask why you removed the airbag ? was it so you can carry a baby seat or to replace the module due to malfunction ?

One other question; did the airbag warning lamp come on ?

    Thanks.

The rest of the process is very easy, just look here

The problem is how to remove the vents and how to use the screwdriver, I can´t find a picture so I have to search for the solution myself, the picture will help the chat. In Germany we have a perfect Porsche chat system, but for Ferrari, there is still a big gap! Thank you for the system here!
The work has to be done, because the leather came off. If you keep the battery disconnected until you finish the work, there will be no warning lamp. If you connect the battery and turne the key while not connecting the airbag cable, then you have a problem! You need a SD1
