I got a tour of the Ferrari factory last spring and it was incredible. I have been trying to find some photos of inside the factory, specifically the main production lines, but have not been very successful.Any pictures or ideas of where I could find some would be greatly appreciated.

Ferrari is VERY careful about not letting anyone get pictures of it. The only time I ever saw anything close to the real deal was the "behind closed doors" show with Joan London where she got a rare tour. Even that was very hit and miss though.

For historic pictures of the factory, there is a recent book

    "Ferrari : The Factory Maranello's Secrets 1950-1975"

by Karl Ludvigsen. It contains pictures from the early days up to searly seventies (ends with 308GT4 and Berlinetta Boxer production lines)

Pretty cool. I've taken a bunch of "unauthorized" pics at the Corvette plant. With technology these days, its getting easier to get away with.

So they are nice enough to let you in, and only ask that you do not take pictures, you agree and then lie to them and breech a good faith contract.

If I let you stay the night would you steal from me?

What is the world coming to.

I've seen the Enzo production line photgraphed for publication.

Those goofy wheels let 'em roll down the line till the real ones get fitted, at the very end!

Teak had one of those 007 necktie cameras on!

I think they are more concerned about folks from the Johnny Cash (RIP)
    song.

its not like I was posting them on the internet or anything. Taking photos of your own car being built on the assembly line is hardly comparable to stealing the towels from the guestroom.

    :rolleyes

    Hey Guys,

It's about time someone posted pics of the inside of the factory, now I can finally get rid of my "V-Card" (virgin card for the older gens.) on the inside of the Ferrari factory. Although its still not the same as being there I'm sure. I'm suprised there isn't more of these pics of the factory that people of this board have taken from their trip to the factory. Surely Teak isn't the only one to pull a KGB move like this at the plant. Nice work though man, good clean pics. Got anymore?

Not to change the subject, but does anyone know when that Joan London "behind close doors" episode about the Ferrari Factory is going to air again? I really want to watch it. :)

    ~Mike P.

I saw this thread and DID NOT post these. I have had them for a while but I promised my buddy I would keep them off the board. I guess they have been around after all. I kinda felt it was sacreligious to post them anyway.
