    Do most new owners of Pista’s and Pista Spiders open the exhaust valves? If so, what differences have been noticed if any? I apologize if this has been covered before, but a search seemed to only address aftermarket exhaust systems. Any replies will be greatly appreciated.

    It has been discussed a lot, but I'm happy to share my thoughts. The attenuation of the valve with the stock car is quite annoying and removes a lot of the audible thrill of an exotic. Though I am seriously considering a new exhaust, I had the Capristo remote installed to control the opening of the valves. It makes a huge difference as you no longer have the valves close between 2000 and 3150rpm, and they stay open on throttle lift-off. The sound is much more of what you likely will want. Of course, you can put it back in to stock mode at the click of a button.
