Amazing accomplishment. Let’s leave it at 9.33. Now I am worried it is too fast. Might need to have a shop disable a couple of cylinders.

Just amazing that it can put the power down like that. Absolutely nuts. I really doubt the SF90 will hang.

To be able to control that much power in a RWD car is nothing short of spectacular.

Brooks just posted 0-60 time of 2.1 seconds on Pirelli P Zeros. Truly unbelievable.

I broke down. Told dealer to get me an allocation foe the spider. My 720 goes for consignment next month.

I know. The kicker was that I had to figure out where to store the cars while we build and my wife asked if my current cars were worthy of the new garage. Likely I was going to sell the 720 for the latest and greatest so why not sell now and the 765 spider which will likely come end of the year or sometime next year. (the later the better) and one less storage issue I have to worry about.

Im an idiot. But so are all of you. We all are and Mclaren and the car brands know it.

I believe you will be very happy, it will be some of the best money you've spent on a car.

McLaren is making every exotic car look like a turd! Wow what performance. Can’t wait to see what it does in capable hands on a road course. Ferrari can’t keep up it seems...sad

Its not just the performance, little things like the back up camera, the user interface to make adjustments. I dont really listen to the music but the stereo system is so much better than anything Ferrari offers. Ever notice that none of the Ferraris have one touch window on the passenger side? Lots of little things they are doing that will hopefully make Ferrari step up their game.

As much as I think getting the 765 spider will be great, I will say that the 720 is one of the best cars Ive ever owned. Its a joy to drive. Great as a monster speed demon and its also just as great as a daily driver. Today I had a photographer take some roller pics. Epic cant describe how great this is. @Sharkbaitwhohaha if you wanna see his other work or hire him. Good dude! located in Socal, happened to be in town this afternoon. It was me and my buddy in his SVJ

I do not listen to music in my cars but without a doubt the regular audio syseyem( radio) in the F8 is the lowest quality I have encountered.

The 720S is a beautiful car but the aesthtetics of the 765 takes it into a new realm.

Unfortunately, Ferrari has been a step behind Mclaren in the last 5 years. 488- continuation of 458 chassis - Turbo -HP 660HP- 720S - light weight - carbon fiber tub-710 HP ( really more). Pista- same chassis as 488- 710 HP- F8 - same chassis- same engine - Mclaren 765LT- track focused- lighter- more CF- 755 HP (more like 825). - Not to mention the Mclaren Senna sandwiched in between.

Mclaren is more advanced in chassis development and engines of elevated power. Their ability to put down that amount of torque and power in a RWD car is stupefying.
Mclaren has to be a leader in performance since they do not enjoy the status and prestige that Ferrari has developed over decades. Ferrari is a Ferrari is a mantra often repeated. No one proclaims a Mclaren is a Mclaren.

Simple solution is to have one of each and enjoy them for what they are. Mclaren - stupid performance. Ferrari- heritage, style brand. This way you dont get involved in the pissing match of which is "better".

Agree. Not an issue of which is better. Depends upon individual preferences and priorities. All are stellar in their own right.

You’ve owned multiple brands and multiple cars and you get it. But there’s so many idiotic fan boys that are so devoted to their brand of choice that they can’t see the forest through the trees

Only criticism anyone should have about the 765LT is that silly toilet bowl air scoop, everything else from performance, engineering to styling is incredible and uniquely McLaren.

Such exciting times to be a driving enthusiast!

Good thing is you don’t have to order that option! I’m not a fan of it either and did not order it on mine.
