I just want to say that the USS Intrepid has a wonderful museum, and you all should go at some point and support this great place. The Fisher family who founded the place have always been and continue to be incredible patriots and friends of the men and women who risk their lives for this country. Among their charities is the Fallen Heroes Fund. For each American and Allied soldier (there are over 700 of them) who has died in military operations since 9/11, the Fishers began writing PERSONAL checks of $10,000 to each dependent family and an additional $5,000 per child. Since, they have taken donations for the program as well.
If you are at all interested in the museum, I suggest you visit.

Yea, the sad part is I have 400 more of the lovely trip, but no time to resize/digitize them!

I met some guys at a small race track in Phoenix, AZ shaking out a Ferrari 250LM and a lightweight '67 275GTB, one of three in the world. Along with Jim Clark's Lotus F1, a Lister Jag and a D Type. Some bad ass iron! Oh and a Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe. Getting raedy for Monterrey, CA

I'd be hard pressed to beat the pics of the New Orleans Pirelli Classic thread! I'm gonna get in the middle of that next.

Markus had a lovely lass on his arm last time I left him headed for the County Fair, I was trying to goad him to post!

 

Bliss in L.A. is a great and popping spot to be on a Friday night (at least it has been for a while. you never know in l.a. how long a place is still a "good" place to party). Good choice. I'm gonna try to make it out there. Look forward to meeting you guys.

 

Markus, there should be a decent contingent of us Tri-State F-Chatters showing up to cheer you guys on. We'll be there regardless, but tell us the best way "all access" pass should we bring our Ferrari's.

 

Hey Markus, we met at the FFQC in New Orleans last year. Anyway, I'm staying in Niagara Falls with family right now, and for sure I'm going to be at Chateau de Charms on Saturday!
