Great looking graph, nice flat torque, power comes in early and caries right up to where they shut down.....79 cams shouldn't look like that, the torque should be crashing past 6800. I don't think you have the original cams in that engine.

Also, you have a high rpm ignition problem. It looks like the spark completely shut down at about 6800 for a rev or 2, that is what caused the downward spike on the graph and maybe the noise I see around 7000-7200 where they shut down the run. It should pull cleanly right to 7700. If you fix it the spark, it will probably make 210-215.

Here's a graph from a 77 euro. The numbers are low, but everything that came off this dyno was quite low. The important thing to notice is that it is extacly the same shape as your graph....you can't do that without exactly the same engine specs. You have the early cams.

I guess one question that might buyers "wonder" is why are you selling it after only 8 months of ownership. It appears you've worked out all the bugs, brought everything up to speed, and been meticulous in your documentation. Sounds like you've invested a lot of emotion and time into making it very nice...but now selling after only 8 months?

    Hi guys,

Thanks for the input on the graph. If I recall correctly, the spike happened once, close to 7000 rpms, so we left it alone because after, the car was getting to the redline just fine. The car is very smooth now, with no hesitation even when pulling from 2k rmps in 5th.

I'm selling the car becaue it is my only good car and I want a car that I can drive more often without having to worry about the weather, where I park it, etc. It is too old/uncomfortable to live with on a daily basis. If I could afford another good daily driver (meaning $35k+), I would keep it, but at this time I don't want to tie up more cash in cars than what I have in them.

    Thanks,
    Bernardo
