I've been staying at my sister's house for the past week or so; so I don't know what anyone's been sending me outside of Chat.

I haven't quite conquered that plateau yet.

ps. Isn't it great how I have the ability to bring people together!

Well I was a little impressionable kid back then - I was there in 1976... now it's a darn instant suburb :( and i'm a big impressionable kid :) There's nothing to indicate it was ever there
sad what we do to history here huh?

I've been at my sisters because of the back problem; she insisted!

I'm planning on going back home tomorrow.

My Sis was going to my house every couple of days to check on Tiger, so she's ok.

Thanx for your offer of help; I think all I need is your puter' expertise now.

Oh, and maybe some insight on a functional problem with a Lambo Countach. These cars were never meant to be driven, and never should have been sold as such!

    Ciao',

Hold on to your chair: NASCAR 2003

Yup, with a heavy after market add-on that disguises the cars, the physics, the tracks, the sounds and the menus of the game. The only thing remaining are the rules (yellow flag, rolling start) and the Texan drawl on the pit comm.

The guy who wrote it is on FChat as well. He trimmed the physics in discussions with Glickenhaus.

You race against a field of P4s. You can shift manually. Since the underlying NASCAR game was pretty slick, the graphics are great (e.g. when you brake the car dives) and you get things like sun reflections or even shadows inside the cabin. Night races show the moon's reflections curling over the front fenders. Beautiful!

I trust your opinion highly and I don't think Vince has tried it yet... should I buy Forza Motorsport for Xbox? I think it had a price drop at Best Buy.

PS: How would Darolls do in Halo?

    You shouldn't. You MUST.

16 Ferraris plus the Stratos are reason enough in my book. Add to that damage modelling, the complete Nordschleife of the Nuerburgring and even some faint force feedback in combination with the Speedster wheel:

Forza also features the P4. The Nascar sim shown below is better, but it takes a while to set everything up on the PC. Sticking in a Forza CD is a lot easier.
