Very tidy 1973 911 E 2.4 spotted in Richmond this evening. Ordered new with forged wheels, 5 speed, rear wiper, rear window demister, sports suspension, sports seats, electric windows, sunroof, tinted glass and chrome trim. Would have cost a bomb new. Owner let me take these pics. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
My second Porsche was a very late 1973T .2 with the Jettronic fuel injection, because it was so late in the model it had a lot of “S” parts that were left over. It was pretty quick almost as quick as a “S”. It was Tangerine as was my first Porsche, loved that car and sorry I sold it. In those days Porsche had a wide color palette of standard colors.
Wes,this could be entertaining. Can you verify the weight claims? https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1983-porsche-944-manual/SSE-AD-13769230/?Cr=5
Renegade are a very well known and well regarded converter to LS engines into a variety of Porsche models, including 944s, Boxsters, Caymans and even 911s. This advertisement says this is one of their kits. In the case of a 944, I have read they do claim the LS weight is less than the original 4 cylinder engine. Heaps of YouTube videos of Renegade converted 944s being driven very quickly. I wouldn’t ever recommend an early dashboard 944 such as this one over the later oval dashboard models unless money was a primary consideration. This would go like stink.
Idiotic design where one has to pump up the spare.. how can one go off road?!! maybe for the teals to take their kids to school Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Just thought I would share some pics of my 928S I've had since 2015. Been awhile since I've been on here... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The story behind this car is I bought it from the original owner's son after he had a stroke in 2015. Drove it all the way back from California to Texas listening to 1984 songs all the way back such as Sammy Hagar's I Can't Drive 55 and Devo's We are Here to GO among others. It just soaks up the miles and just settles in so nicely when you're into 3 digit territory, just rock stable. I bought the car with just over 59k miles and now almost 8 yrs later this 84 has 76k miles. When all looked hopeless it got me to my Mom's funeral right after Valentine's Day 2016, so this car will always be special to me... Many times I have had offers for it, but then I think of it getting me to my Mom's funeral when no other car I could have jumped in and driven a Pole Position lap to get there and hear what everyone had to say about my Mom, say my peace about my Mom, and to me that will be forever priceless. The fact that it is factory stock and Guards Red aka Indischrot with Tan aka Champagne interior just absolutely put it over the top for me. As you can tell by the low miles I only put "Chocolate Miles" on it (beautiful weekend mornings on empty country roads out here east of Dallas). Thank you for the reply. 928s are incredible on the open highway...
