Well, it's going to be showtime this Sunday October 2nd at Moorespeed in SE Austin. It's the 2nd Annual Porsche vs. Ferrari Concours d'Elegance. Last year there were 100 cars and over 250 attendees.
    The cars...
There will be 50 judged Porsches and Ferraris, a second group of display cars and the spectator parking lot that, last year, was just as spectacular as the judged car area.
    Spectators...
Spectators are welcome: Use the alternate driveway, not the main Moorespeed driveway. They will be signs and folks directing you to the correct parking area.
    Food & drink...
There will be coffee, water, breakfast tacos and beer available
    • When: Sunday October 2nd
    • Time: Judging begins at 10AM, awards at noon
    • Where: Moorespeed 7910 Burleson Rd.

Great event, but we needed to leave early. The kids are wondering who ended up wining in votes.

Great show today with wonderful weather! It was fantastic to see the 288 and the F40 along with the two 275s. It would have been fun to have the F40 and 288 next to each other or one behind the other for contrast. The Dino GT was a nice treat as well. The visitor paddock had a ton of cool rides to check out. However, not a single TR in attendance. Crazy!

No kidding. But of all the high value cars, it’s nice to see that folks thought a lot of this particular car.

It won at the Italian Motor Gathering in Boerne too. It’s driven regularly at our Club events. Very special.

I wonder if that's Tom's car. I remember sitting in it when it was in pieces in his garage about 18 years ago.

I haven't been around the Ferrari world for a while so I'm not sure who's still around. My old friend Tom had a Rosso Fiorano F355 Berlinetta & a black 250 GTC just like the one in that photo. Back in the mid 2000's is was still being restored.
