Red Mondial Cab southwest bound on Highway 217 this afternoon. I was in the 365 going the opposite direction. This was probably a guy in my neighborhood who has a Mondial, but I couldn't be sure.
I spotted a white 360 modena spyder new Ron Tonkin plate in Longview crossing over the lewis and clark bridge. Anyone?
No spots in over a month? Pretty sad... I've been doing my part-- had both the 365 and the 456 out yesterday, 456 will be out again tomorrow.
Anyone from Portland been out driving lately, with the beautiful weather? I've been doing my part-- had both the 512BB and the 456 out and about around Northwest Portland yesterday.
Had the 360 out this weekend (rain be damned) and I am actually hoping for a litttle snow, just to see how it does (though probably only around the block). Saw Ed Tonkin out in his blue 456 in the rain as well.
I was out all day Monday and Tuesday and in NW where my office is.. Car is getting a new clutch so down for a week Mike
Anyone know who owns the Red 355 spider that I always see in NW Portland?? He goes to the Bistro/Bakery/coffee shop on Thuman st half bock up from NW 23rd??? I drive by and see him there all the time. Just curious? Mike
Do you mean St. Honore (sp?) bakery? Great bakery, although I've never seen a 355 there. I had the Boxer down there at Starbucks on 23rd (the one closer to Thurman, maybe 23rd and Pettygrove or something) this afternoon.
That is the bakery. I try to stay out of there cause it is soooooooooo good. Boy I could sure plump up there every morning with a coffe and pastry. Ya his 355 red with black top and tan interior. My office was up on the corner of 27th and thurman. Who ever it was is there 3 days a week at least. Even drives it in the rain. I know they don't melt but don't think I will intentionally drive mine in the rain. Hope to meet you soon, Mike
Mike Mike Mike................................... We have had some really GREAT drives in less than perfect weather. If you don't get wet once in a while the car will end up sitting too much and thats a bad thing. 2 Stradales, 2 360 Modenas, 3 355's and two 308's The thread, less pictures sadly
I have to agree. When I mentioned in an earlier post that I had the Boxer down at the Starbucks on NW 23rd I neglected to mention two things: 1) it started raining just after I got there and 2) the windshield wiper stopped working shortly thereafter. It gave me a good excuse to go fast on the way home!
I have only driven the car for 300-400 miles....Just saying I don't want to intentional take it out in a rain storm yet??? I knwo the day will come and it won'tmelt. I like it all shiny and clean...for now...You guys crack me up.. mike
Isn't that just typical. Sort of like the the A/C crapping out at the beginning of July after working flawlessly all winter.
I spotted myself in my rearview mirror, Vancouver, Sw Portland, all day yesterday and might I say what a nice black 348!!! hahahahaha Mike
Grigio Titanio 575 at the corner of Country Club and Boones Ferry--driver an older, balding, one hand on the wheel kinda guy?
