I guess I'll get you guys started too.
Thanks, Willis! I didn't see any Ferraris today, saw quite a few yesterday at Ron Tonkin though... had to take the 456 back for some more work in my ongoing saga.
No spots in quite a while... all the local Ferrari owners must be hibernating. I'm a bit surprised no one has spotted me, as I've been driving the 365 quite a bit. No one else from west/northwest Portland?
I will be on the lookout, what color is it? Since the spotters thread is so slow here is a Viper I saw on 205 last week .
Don, I saw you a couple of days ago when you were going north on Cedar Hills in your 365 2+2. I was going south in my white Chevy 2500. I love the sound of your car. I turned off my radio to hear your engine! Did you see my General Discussion thread about the red over black Mondial 3.2 cabrio at Cherner Classics (MD). I'm going to go check it out when I'm over there for the First Flight anniversary and the NASM/Udvar-Hazy grand opening! NASM opening on Dec 15, Kitty Hawk on Dec 17! Mike
Mark, you know that there is an Enzo in Tualatin, right? (along with an F40 and an F50, I believe). This might belong to the same individual-- he has quite a collection.
Mike-- I'm envious of you! Going to Kitty Hawk and the NASM opening will be great. I wish I could go!
I didn't know that. I really don't know anything about the Fcar scene in Portland other than the fact that Tonkin has a nice warehouse full of cars. Just developed an old roll of film and found this pic of a 3X8 stuck in usual traffic jam on the north end of Dundee.
Red 360 spyder at NW Barnes and Miller. I give a thumbs up to the guy for driving in the pouring rain!
Mark, I know those two people.... It's Ray and Becky. He's the assistant regional director of the NW Club. Gary
Hey guys, I never realized there was a NW listing. I drive my grigio/titanio 575 just about every nice day into the NW from Lake Oswego.Have 5k mi on it in 6 mo. The guy in Tigard who owns the red/blk enzo along with 12 other F cars is Page Stevens-lovely guy. Also has F40,F50,550 Barchetta,550 M,360 spider etc plus a 959 P and 3 Loti, and other goodies. The only other enzo in town is a red/red owned by Ron Tonkin. That viper looks like Doug Daniels who also has a 550,289 Cobra and other toys. Marty Kuzi--Last time I looked it was Marty not Mary.If there's any change I'll let you know.
Hey Willis, All is well here in sunny Portland.Looking foward to driving the M3 down to Santa Barbara and shipping the 575.Two months there will just about dry me out from this damn rain, Hope you Seattle guys are all OK and enjoying the weather. Willis-Isn't it time to retire?
Marty When are you leaving? I'm driving down to the LA area in mid February and don't want to get stuck behind any geriatric drivers
Marty, Retire? Nope, gotta keep busy. This weather we've been having is messing up my 360 driving fun. I wish I could get away for a couple of month.
Mark, You are right on-We take 14 days to drive down to S Barbara (via Chicago). It is dangerous with all those old farts on the road.Perhaps a greyhound (bus) is more to your liking??
