Portofino M delivery date

So, don't laugh but I sort of forgot that I ordered this. The GM called me and said it's on the boat. I'm like, oh yeah . . . the Porto M . . . what color did I order again? Ha. I went and looked in the My Ferrari app and there it was. It's Rosso California. Don't ask me the rest of the spec because I've long ago forgotten.

Interesting how your final production picture is top down. Mine is top up. I was hoping to get a peek at the Alcantara in the seats but they're covered in any case.

 

You’re either a baller or have dementia. I suppose you could be a demented baller tho.

Can’t believe it’s finally here!
She is super fun and I’m happy with the spec.
Initial driving impressions:
More comfortable softer seats than 812.
Smoother ride than 812.
Great sound considering turbo.
Fits very nice great materials.
More power than you’ll ever need on street.
Seems to be a fantastic easy drive daily.
Not as beastly obviously as 812.

Looks great . Congratulations and your comments are good to hear. Hoping mine will arrive shortly - status 85 was mid December and 90 some while back. Getting very antsy now.

 

Do you know whether your car has come with ApplePlay even if you did not order it as it was produced before 2022 ? As mine was produced a couple of days after yours I am hoping mine doesn’t.Also have they confirmed the MSRP ? TX

 

Great looking spec and initial driving impressions. The updates to the showroom are great as well, really makes it an occasion to have your car featured. Hopefully I'll be posting similar pictures six months (or so) from now.

Very nice. I pick mine up next week. Going with the Tire/wheel pkg, interior protectant(probably a waste but have sabbia interior) and still deciding between film on the front or the whole car. Sales advisor suggesting the front only.

Sounds fantastic, Sabbia is interior color of my choice, ordered it in my 3 pedal 430 spider and just picked up a 19 Portofino with 750 miles with Sabbia. I don't do anything special with it, just wipe it down with a leather cleaner/ conditioner once and a while. No stains or excessive wear showing on the 430 and I have 15,000 miles on it.

Please post some pictures as soon as you get it, I would luv to see the interior with the top down.

Just to update the thread. We ordered a Portofino M in March of 2021, were told we had an allocation in March 2022, and just had a VIN show up in the MyFerrari app. For anyone interested, we did not order Android Auto / Apple Carplay (SMARTPHONE CONNECTION SMRT 4,219), but it now shows up in our config. As I have read elsewhere I assume the MSRP has been raised and this is now standard instead of an option.

 

Well I finally picked the car up on Saturday which was great after the long wait. Had PPF on the front areas and full ceramic coating.
The car was produced on Dec 15 last year so did not have the ApplePlay installed which I had not ordered and the base price stayed at the original 222k which was a pleasant surprise.
Drove it the 300 + miles home which was a good way to get acquainted but weaving through Saturday midday Atlanta traffic and roadworks focused the mind a bit. Some early thoughts :
- obviously very different from my 360 Spider but overall exactly
what I wanted for where we live.
- Plenty of power and I must say the noise was better than I
expected. Surprisingly good with rather top up and the wind
deflecter works well with the top down.
- Had it in auto initially as we worked out how to navigate Atlanta
and was very surprised how rapidly the box moves to 8 th gear
even at very low speeds / revs. Plenty of torque but if you need
to jump on the throttle there is quite a delay as the box kicks

- Initial throttle movement is longer than I am accustomed to but
smooth. Brakes are very strong and I found them easy to
modulate.
- Controls work well and the cabin is very comfortable. Could not
work out how to deactivate the stop / start until we got home
which was annoying -it’s on a button on the top of the
windscreen.
- No chance to really try out the handling yet but it was very
well behaved on the interstate and felt fine getting out after a
reasonably long drive.

So early impressions are very good and I am thrilled with the car. FoAtlanta were excellent all the way through but could never follow the build on the Ferrari App which for me , is useless. Will attach a couple of pics- very traditional Rosso Corsa and beige interior.

Also, now that you have the vehicle on hand, what do you regret not speccing and what feature(s) do you think you could have lived without?
