i wont say that homecoming is TOTAL bulshi*t, but it is BS that its required to attend. remember when they said that you got some independence in high school? they lied.

 

Show your independence and don't attend. It's as simple as that!

I was a maverick in high school (they called us "hippies" then, LOL!) and I didn't go in for this crap.

 

If its not on paper...it NEVER happened. Trust me I learned that the hard way!!

 

After watching my dad play rock band, I learned that he is NOT Keith Moon, no matter what he says. My exidence is:\
1. My dad's name is Tom, not Keith
2. My dad is living, whereas Keith is not.
3. (and this is the big one) Keith could play drums with amazing skill, while my dad cannot pass songs on easy

You are required to attend homecoming? Wtf is up with that? I wouldn't know if that was required when I was in high school though. I quit two weeks into my junior year and started college early. I hated high school.

It started out as," Can you give me a stat that the regular Joe would find interesting?"

The Agent told me about the Diesel fuel excise tax revenue compared with income tax revenue.

I then asked about gasoline excise tax revenue and he said, "I don't know as I specialize in diesel taxes only."

The tax rate for diesel is 24.4 cents per gallon

The tax rate for gasoline (automotive) is 18.4 cents per gallon.

These are federal rates only.

There are 50 States with 50 different rates (it seems.)
