I also have both and both make me smile differently.
The value of a Cali T is likely to tank...maybe that's not a problem for you though.I like 550 Maranello idea a lot more.
Thanks everyone for your responses. This will be a difficult decision for me. Like my pastor says " A first world problem". I am really leaning towards the Ferrari. Why? The exclusivity. Here in Atlanta, 911s are a dime a dozen. My biggest hesitation is reliability. Also, I don't understand the post which said the value of the Cali T is likely to Tank. Why is that?
2+2 Ferrari always seem to depreciate faster than the two seaters. Rumors are that the replacement for the Cali is imminent. By Ferrari standards, there is a healthy supply. I'm sure others might add other reasons for the Cali T to depreciate. As far as reliability, I'd get this extended warranty for peace of mind, and ask the local FCA folks about how they like the local F-car dealer. I think the evidence is that the latest generation Ferrari are among the most reliable ever made. But, if anything goes amiss, it can get expensive very quickly. T
You mean the one with the love grass in his hand? Oh, wait a minute, wrong century. Yeah, the dealer in Atlanta is cool.
Seriously, go to the dealer and convince the sales mgr you are real. I have known guys who took copies of their stock accounts with them. You need to drive a few cars. Find out what floats your boat. Don't get caught up in the hype. Ferraris are just cars. They have four wheels and burn gas. Just find out what you like.
