If a Dino 206 Competizione homage it is Paolo Martin, the car's creator, who should be honored.

Strange, but this "prototipo" and the car from "BB" spy shots looks similar from the rear view.

I was certain this is the Prototipo because of the back but I also noticed wheels are 5 bolt.

Regardless, it does look like it's consistent with all the elements of the Prototipo seen so far. In fact if you will notice that although the camo at the side window rear would betray a LaFerrari type kink, looking inside the car the beltline looks to be straight across. As I expect it to be on Prototipo.

Of course I do notice those differences, especially presence of the wing etc. :D But the movie can show not only the "prototipo" but also the journey from inspiration to this SP car. Anyway, it's not far away from reveal and that's VERY good, so speculations won't last long. :)

PS. Maybe they just reused some "BB" parts and styling cues in this one off?

Apparently tomorrow is only part one of the movie, so it's possible we won't see the car tomorrow...

I don't remember Ferrari promoting an SP car this much - am I wrong?

Why the hype for a one-off?

How short can be parts of a short movie? Disappointing :D Should we pay for season pass to watch full season of episodes?

It certainly depends on the willingness of the customers to share the experience. Some one-offs even came out of the factory without any public outing until today. Plus according to Ferrari it is the most extreme one-off so far.

I just wish that this one off SP will be highly inspired by racing Ferrari car, but road legal. That's the dream of many of us - to take Ferrari racing car on the road.

Jokes aside, I don't think the prototipo will be street legal..

I was told this Prototipo will be a road legal track car with V12. We’ll see...

    Wild-azz-guess, brutal rough sketch below.

As I'm pretty sure it's a Dino 206 Competizione tribute I expect some simple gull wing doors and maybe a glass roof.

If the doors are gull wing then I take back comments where I believe the suspected BB spy pics where this car. Door openings on that car don't look like gull wing.

Unfortunately, looks to have Ford GT type flying buttresses which I don't particularly like.

Unfortunately, It doesn't. I think it's safe to say it will be powered by the same 3.9L V8 found in the road & race cars; power output could be 720, if they don't want to outshine the Pista/F8.

Considering the sound of the video, I'd be surprised if it was a V12.

    But I hope you're right.

Good call. I suspect you’re right.

I understand you’re feelings however I will say that PF and Ferrari started the flying buttress wings with the 599 GTB.

If course. I don't like when the buttress goes out to the edge of the fender. I like the car to have some hips. Same reason I don't like, for instance, the Huracan or the Clapton SP. This one at least looks like it gets some hips farther aft.

He also had something to say about one of the special "70 Anni" editions because it was a tribute to "his" 206...

PS: this was one of the early LaF designs:
