I don't like Ferrari having a SUV, and don't even like the styling for what it is, but who will listen to me and other enthusiasts when money talks?

Ferrari is now bean counters and share holders. Might as well be called Ford or G.M for all the difference it makes. All these Wizz bang electrical gimmicks are going to kill the brand. Swipe to start steering wheel? What am I? Unlocking my phone?

I think we forget that not every enthusiast harks for the past - young comers to the brand are enthusiastic about different things. I’m not a fan of haptic controls - talked to a few people that love them. I have no problem with the Purosangue - I suspect that back in the day Enzo would have had no problem either if it generated large funds for racing. If you look at many high end brands, SUVs have generated huge revenue - some of which has kept certain brands “in the game”.

Just think of it as a car that is shorter and less wide than a Lamborghini Aventador (Veneno)

*(feel better?) Or perhaps since this Aventador is longer/wider, it's not an enthusiast car to you?

Yes, I admit, the PS 4 inches taller than a BMW M5 Competition that hit the ring in 7:35

    Get over it.

What matters to me is if it can hit the ring under 7:35 (Cayenne did it in 7:38)....now that is a novel concept huh?

    Dimensions < performance?

Or are you the type of 'enthusiast' where 'looks' matters more than performance? If so, nothing wrong with that, there is room enough for all of us, say the 'stanced' community.

*PS I hate using the "ring as a benchmark beyond 'bragging' rights, anybody that knows cars realizes what's good on the ring' doesn't necessarily translate to 'driving enjoyment.'
