Is it possible to put the F1 tranny on a 360 into neutral if the battery is completely dead? On the 458, there is a crank that can be turned manually with a wrench to find neutral. Can't find any reference to a similar thing for the 360. Is it possible?

Long story short, I have a new battery for the car but the passenger side of the car is parked against the wall of my garage -- seems it would be easier to push the car out and access the battery from the passenger side vs. hefting the battery over the tunnel from the drivers side and trying to connect it down while lying down in the footwell.

    Thanks.

Have you tried putting the dead battery on a tender first to get some life to it where you can shift to neutral?

Unless you have the Ferrari special tool to release the hydraulic pressure you will need to get power to the car. You can easily remove the small floor carpet panel behind the driver's seat to access the B+ and Ground "jumping points" then start the car (with a jumper box or charger) or if the battery is really dead you can at least get enough power the put the gearbox in Neutral - good luck

Booster battery is an essential tool with Ferrari ownership. Make sure you charge the battery, or if it's done, replace it. Make sure it is a dry cell battery like an optima or odessey.
