Anyone have access to a source that would sell a small (2 liters) of liquid nitrogen tomorrow (Wed.) in the Seattle/Bellevue/Redmond area? I used to have a connection, but they are no longer...

    Thanks,

    ~Chris

Have you asked your local emergency room? I did that when I was playing with a do it yourself semi-conductor from the back of a Popular Science back in the day.
Also plastic surgeons have some, Especially ones that do hair transplants.

you would not happen to be using it to cool your nuclear reactor would you? because if i am looking at federal jail time i need to put in my reservations early at the terminal island tennis courts. when it comes to termianal island everyone has reservations.

Well, it makes great fog effects. :0) Is anybody computer literate enough to remember the Cray supercomputer? I tried to supercool a computer once.

I moved to LA because my mom worked for plastic surgeons, and they always had a healthy supply. One day I was watching Scooby Doo (don't mock me I was like 9 at the time) and the meddling kids figured out the fog disguising a getaway was a dry ice effect. One of the docs said "oh yeah dry Ice, but I have something better for you to play with..."

And thus, with access, I found uses for it.

Airgas on Airport way in Seattle or in Issaquah. You could also try Praxair and Byrne Specialty Gas.

Can you post how you make ice cream with LN? I have heard of it, but have never seen it. I do hear it is supposed to be very smooth. We use a lot of LN at work and often spend a lot of overnighters. Making a little LN ice cream would make work more interesting at 2 in the morning.

    Thanks,
    Chris
