Ferrari and 16-year-old drivers don't mix. Give a teenager a 456, and he's liable to do stupid things in it, like wrap it around a tree when doing 170 miles an hour. Of course, he'll take out a few trees along the way, but you catch my drift. Here on Long Island, this is an all-too-common sight. Kids driving cars far to powerful (and expensive) for them to be driving, and doing stupid things in them. Remind me to make my kids BUY their first cars with the money earned from a job. Maybe then they'll treat it with respect and not beat it to death because they're not paying for it...

    Just my rant...

    Hey.
I was just wondering - can you take the drivers license in the US when your
    16 years old????
Here in Norway you have to be 18 - but the stupid thing is, if you like you can begin in class for truck (rig) the day after you got your drivers license for car.
So this means that the young and with "no" experience can get behind the wheel on a (max) 52 ton rig. thats insane.

Actully, you can get a hard ship license and drive at age 15. I, being 16, think the age should be 18. I'll tell you right now, I drive good and have been in no crashes for a year, but it just scary, and stupid.
