Hey guys! Wanted to re-introduce myself to the area, used to be pretty active around 5-6 years ago and disappeared for a bit. If anyone attended Ferraris on the Vine in 2010/2011 I was the kid shooting all the pics. Did a lot of photography in the region, but as it happens drifted away from Ferraris and photography. Happy to say I've rediscovered my love of both recently and wanted to just say "Hi". I've recently been shooting a lot of fashion photography and want to get back into automotive shooting, but also combine the two. If anyone is interested in doing a photoshoot and letting me shoot a model or two with your car feel free to give me a shout! Hoping to make it out a bit more this summer and check out some of the shows and C&Cs in the area. Dear Chris, Your photo of my blue 500 Mondial remains one of my favorites. I love the shot particularly given the care and preparation and length of time it took you to make the shot. Welcome back and keep[ up the good work. Best regards, Robert
Great to see some of the same faces around. Hey Ray! How've you been? Hey man, still heading to PB every year? Thanks, one of my favorite shots I've ever done! And it almost didn't happen, glad I was able to get a couple before it had to go on the truck. I've improved my editing skills a bit since I took it, I'll send over a new high-res copy once a tweak it a bit here and there. When your Petrolicious video came out I was scrolling through Facebook one day and was like that car looks quite familiar.
Trying! Hoping to make it this year, but the schedule is getting busy. 6 of the last 8 years is still a pretty good record!
Hello, Chris. Here are two shots you took of my 1969 365 GTC at the 2009 FOTV. Hard to believe it's been nine years.
Welcome back Chris, Here's a zoomed, cropped version of your beautiful photo of my 355. Still have that car, and fond memories of that event. Wow how time flies. Stan Image Unavailable, Please Login
That was the show in Williamsburg where I brought the "Vines in the Ferrari" to Ferraris on The Vine". As you may recall, the basis for the aluminum seat surrounds in the LBC is contoured grape vine canes. That also was the show where the LBC received the Dan Gurney "Want to take this car home" award. Oh yes, I distinctly remember seeing your Mondial there - gorgeous car! If I remember correctly, we chatted for a bit about it. Didn't know about the seats, that's pretty interesting!
Man those were the days, I still have all my photos in my archive, should dig those out and post some up.
If anyones looking for pics of the Ferraris on the Vine event let me know, I've got about 1200 shots from that weekend. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Dear Chris, Two nice snots of Dan, really miss him. That award was for the blue car and was for "The Car Dan Wanted To Take Home Trophy". Best regards,
First Fashion Meets Ferrari shoot last night, still working through tons of edits and I'll probably keep tweaking even this one, but a little sneak peak for you guys. All thanks goes to Jeff for bringing his gorgeous 360 out. P.S. No paint was harmed in the making of this image. Image Unavailable, Please Login
