thus is one of the few parts i have yet to take off.
I would like to add this to the diy sticky so does anyone have a procedure??
It would be the piece below the door sill.
    Thanks

Are you talking about the rocker panels?

Maybe he has a challenge car with a NACA duct on the diffuser to a tube that is held to the rear rotor.

By his description “the piece below the door sill” he must be talking about the rocker panels.

    Yup sorry guys got busy
Yes had a brain fart. Lower rocker with the intake for the rear brake.
So hows that thing come off.
I have the door sill off and thought that the rocker may come off by some screws.
Never looked fromthe bottom either to see if it bolts on fromtheir either
    Whats the verdict

Remove door sills. There are a few screws hold the top of the rocker panel under it. There are also a few screws under the car holding the bottom of the rocker panel. And one in the front wheel well. Then there are two studs molded to the inside of the rocker panel that go through the side of the quarter panel. One can be reached by removing the rear fender liner. The other requires either removing the oil cooler or AC condenser and radiator depending on which side, or if you have small enough hands you can reach it through the bottom cooling vent in the door jamb. As I recall the nut is 10 mm with a washer under it. You have to get in there with a 1/4" drive ratchet and work blind but it's doable.

I just managed to do it with the blind reach into the lower air scoop. Taking it off is not bad it’s threading the nut back on to it on reinstall that’s a major PITA
