I should explain this picture was taken 2 years ago for our 42nd anniversary. This place is called the Red Caboose Motel in Strasburg, PA. they have about 50 various and assorted rail cars converted into luxury suites. It ain't cheap but this place is fanfreakintabulous. Ours had a whirlpool tub built for two. It was very enjoyable if you know what I mean!
I thought that place looked familiar! Our 20 year old Autistic son still loves the steam locomotives, and Strasburg is around a 45 minute drive so we're there twice per year. I always wanted to try that motel as we have driven past it countless times. Might be fun for a overnight family stay, but for different reasons than your trip of course. hehe Looks nice to see the Mondial parked there. To both you and the original poster, the blacked out tail panel looks excellent. Unfortunately now each time I look at the back of my red '85 QV Cab I might feel it is missing something.
SREPH, aaaaaaaa,,, that's a euro model. QV ( Best one in my opinion.) I had a 1985 QV Cab. with a NORWOOD modified TURBO motor in it ,,, sold it back in 2003 , , ,I didn't/couldn't pass California smog. boooohooo. Is your block drysumped.....? Does it have the factory boss for the dry sump system...? and , nice wheels. Chat later, Eduardo
Wet sump. My car is funny because my title says 1985 but this car was built in 1983. I always figured with all the importing and exporting it got changed somehow. No worries with emissions here for older cars.
