I would give Verdi's a call. I'd be amazed if they couldn't repaint them for a fraction of the replacement price.

How is it complex? I was imagining it's the sort of thing you could almost do yourself- take the wheel off and mask everything. I wouldn't do it myself, but this is where I'd start from.

    joe,
    thanks for yr input
sure will call when back home
just got the car back from graypaul with all the work done (5k)
will have to work it off the next couple of months
what did you have done to yr wheel centres?

    456mgt,
$1000 us$ was for repainting not replacing
i read that it is quite complex as it involves taking the entire calliper apart then shot blasting it, treating it with primer, baking . blasting again, painting, baking, all with heat resistant paint and then finally rebuilding the calliper(read..... cost of rebuilding kit)

    would say thats quite complex

but would have to say it makes the car look awesome

joe, dont recollect ....does yr spider have red callipers?

    Chetan,

my caliper was chipped and damaged when a stone jammed in between the rim and the Caliper.

I had the wheels completly refurbished, I etched the paint surfaces, Reprimed with heat resistant Specialist Paint ( not Halfords Jobby ) and re-painted using colour coded paint also heat resistant.

Purchased Decals from Maranellos and while at it applied a mottled silver finish to the hub centres, using same paint.

Whole lot £ 78.00 and a weekend of my time....

I saw a thread some time ago when a guy in the US bought a specialist kit to convert his calipers to yellow , must say on red cae it looked nice!!!

Your Yellow 360 may look betta in red as this breaks up the colour scheme, ( only my opinion Chetan) it may also look real nice!!

The prices you mention sound a rip off mate.... Im sure loads of respectable paint shops will do the job on the car for a lot less than you have previously mentioned..
