    I wonder if the engine cover can be removed so you can see the engine if you don;t need the storage space? I did not see that they explained that

    Thanks for the quick reply.
    That would be a deal-breaker for me then, because I would rather see the engine than have the additional space (except maybe on long trips).
    I suppose you could somehow unbolt it but if the engine is not meant to be seen, it may not be visually attractive. And there may be a heat management issue.

    I ask because I was considering a used 570S but the GT would be attainable.

    They all use basically the same engine, so they look alike. Not the prettiest engine in the world, but boy does it get the job done!
