This is an old one:
Which animal walks on 4 legs in the morning, 2 legs in the afternoon and 3 legs in the evening?















































A human. This represents the cycle of life, 4 legs is crawling=young, 2 legs=adult life and walking and 3 legs is walking with a cane.

 

You come to a fork in the road; go one way, and you go to hell; go the other and you go to heaven... You don't know which way is which... There are two people at either fork in the road... Isn't that spelled aitch-bone. I don't think aitch alone is a word.
The answer I was thinking of is "queue". {Waiting in a line.}

 

i never heard of aitch-bone, but aitch, alone by itself, is a word... It's the spelling of the letter H...
